Wow, What A Night! Belterra Casino presented,
The Real McCoy L.L.C. production of, “SOUL, ROCK N’ BLUES”
The show started with a bang. Little Richard, portrayed by Garry Moore, set the bar extremely high and the energy was infectious as the audience came alive. Little Richard was followed by Cara Lee, as Janis Joplin. Even the twenty-something’s were mesmerized at the Raw Power, she projected. Cookie Watson as Tina Turner is always an electrifying experience. She has the look, voice, and the attitude. Tom Jones, as performed by, Steve McCoy, blends the British class, mischief, and wit with the charm and voice of the idol. The last act “The Bluz Brothers”, Carman Ramono and Eric Martin are always a “Ball Of Fire”. The humor, dancing, and outrageous enthusiasm, that they never fail to supply brought the show to a climactic ending that left the audience on their feet.
The dancers were gorgeous and stepped lively to their ever number. The band was in fine form with an invigorating horn section.
Some of the after show comments heard was, “There wasn’t one act that didn’t blow me away.” “The Best Tribute Show that I have ever seen and I’ve seen quite a few” and last but not least, “When are they coming back?”
